Belvedere
Belvedere is located about a mile away from the Erith production facility and specialises with the bottling of our olive, speciality oils and vinegars. Built in 1995, the facility lies 20km east of London. The Belvedere site is a highly flexible facility which is able to provide a number of bottle types, sizes and packaging options.
In 2013, we installed a new line in response to the growing trend away from glass bottles towards PET. In 2017, the site installed a state of the art laboratory to allow our dedicated techincal teams ensure authenticity and quality is met with every product produced.
Oil is bottled using one of our 7 production lines which bottles circa 25m liters of oil every year in 170 different sizes and formats. This makes EOL the UK’s largest producer of olive oil in the UK.
We pack: Olive oils, specialty oils and vinegars.
We produce in: Glass bottles, PET bottles, spray oils and bulk containers.
Supply
Oil arrives onsite in 3 formats: Oil Tanker, 1000 litre IBC and drum. The oil is being delivered from all over the globe to meet the consumers’ requirements.
Storage
Our oils are stored in temperature controlled conditions prior to packing. Our storage capacity allows us to react quickly to customer demand. Bulk oil is stored in one of our 36 bulk tanks. Speciality oils are stored in a dedicated store alongside the blending facility.
Packaging
Oil is bottled on one of our 7 quality packing lines. Line 1 is the high speed preform line, packing 250 bottles a minute in 250ml, 500ml and 1ltr PET.
Palletisation
The finished cases are automatically stacked and shrink wrapped onto pallets before further quality checks ahead of shipment.

Quality is paramount in everything we do and we are proud to have recently had a world class laboratory installed. We work very closely with the International Olive Council ( IOC ) and DEFRA to ensure the authenticity of all of our products.
